Gurney Pease Academy is a ‘Good’ school (Ofsted October 2021) with amazing children and staff. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our EYFS team in our two-old-provision, who believes that in order for children to achieve their potential, good self-esteem, positive relationships, and high aspirations are essential.

This position is to start 5th January 2026.

Are you an enthusiastic and nurturing Level 2 Teaching Assistant? We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our warm and welcoming primary school in January 2026.

About the Role: As an Early Years Teaching Assistant in the two-year-old provision you will work as part of the EYFS team providing a safe, fun learning environment that provides learning through play.

You will liaise with colleagues in the EYFS team to plan and lead activities to support all areas of the curriculum.

To ensure a safe environment for the children.

To be aware of all legal and statutory requirements relating to EYFS.

The ideal candidate will have:

• The ability to build positive relationships with children, parents/carers, and staff.
• A commitment to creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
