Summary
A Programme Manager is required to lead a complex, high-profile programme aligned with the UK governments housing plans. The role involves managing multi-disciplinary teams and overseeing housing initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders and government departments, to deliver measurable outcomes. The successful candidate will have a strong change and transformation background, with experience in organisation-wide transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a cross-functional programme team, providing direction and ensuring delivery of objectives.
- Advise senior leaders on risks, resources, timelines, and decision-making pathways.
- Establish robust programme governance, controls, and assurance processes.
- Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and stakeholder relationships.
- Ensure delivery of outcomes within time, cost, and quality parameters.
- Promote business readiness and benefit realisation.
- Oversee programme performance reporting and liaison with key stakeholders.
Key Deliverables:
- Set up and refine frameworks for programme delivery and evaluation.
- Produce reports, communications, and governance materials to support programme oversight.
- Coordinate effectively with government departments and internal teams to ensure alignment.
Important Experience:
- Demonstrable experience leading major transformation or change programmes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at senior levels.
- Experience managing programme or project teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Relevant qualifications in programme/project management (e.g., PRINCE2 etc.).
6 month contract
£700 per day Inside IR35
Hybrid working (London, Glasgow and Cardiff offices)
