Summary
Cleaning Team Leader
Contract: 6-Month Fixed Term Contract | 40 Hours a Week | Monday to Friday
Location: South East of England (Patch covering from Crawley through to Brighton)
Salary & Package: £28,000 - £32,000 annual salary pro rata | Company Vehicle
Your new role
We're looking for a Cleaning Team Lead who will manage a team of cleaning professionals, alongside delivering adequate Health & Safety compliance, following the client's statutory Fire and Safety regulations to mitigate potential risks. This role is a temporary position for a 6-month contract. You will effectively manage and ensure excellent service delivery to various client contracts over an agreed geographical area whilst leading a mid-sized team of cleaners, making sure they are achieving agreed KPIs. You will also:
- Conduct monthly cleaning audits across the contract aligning with KPIs and SLAs
- Build relationships and rapport with contract clients,
- Conduct line manager duties including regular 1-2-1s, review any HR concerns and general line management work
- Have great customer service skills to liaise with clients effectively.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have proven experience as a people leader within the soft services or cleaning industry, ideally across multiple sites. Holding a full UK Driving Licence is a must due to the nature of the job. You'll also have:
- Excellent customer service with good communication skills and a good understanding of written and verbal English
- A Health and Safety IOSH qualification
- Knowledge of the Cleaning Standards
- Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment
