Summary
Location: Edinburgh (office-based)
Contract: Full-time
Are you organised, people-focused and eager to make an impact? Storm ID, a growing digital consultancy, is looking for an Office Manager who wants to do more than keep things ticking over. This is your chance to shape our culture, support a talented team and grow your career in an environment where enthusiasm and great ideas are valued. You’ll play a central role in the smooth running of our Edinburgh office, welcoming visitors, supporting colleagues and creating a positive, efficient workplace. For the right person, this could be the first step toward exciting opportunities within our business.
About the Role
As our Office Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our business operations. You’ll be the friendly face that welcomes clients and staff, the organised mind that keeps things running smoothly and the creative problem-solver who makes our workplace better. From managing front-of-house and coordinating events to overseeing health and safety, budgets and facilities, to supporting our leadership teams, you’ll ensure our office is a place where people feel supported and welcome. You don’t need years of office experience; this role could suit a recent graduate or someone early in their career. What matters most is your initiative, enthusiasm and drive to learn.
We’re looking for someone who is:
• Organised and detail-focused – able to juggle multiple tasks at once.
• Personable and approachable – you’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and colleagues.
• A problem-solver – practical, adaptable and ready to take initiative.
• A strong communicator and collaborator – able to work well across teams.
What You’ll Do
• Greet and support visitors, keeping our front-of-house professional and welcoming.
• Manage office facilities, repairs and suppliers within budget.
• Coordinate company events, travel and accommodation.
• Review health and safety policies and carry out health and safety inductions.
• Support the team with admin tasks, catering and file management.
• Collaborate with finance on office expenditure and budgets.
• Use tools like MS Teams, SharePoint, Xero and databases to keep everything running efficiently.
What you will need to be
We’d love to hear from you if you are:
• enthusiastic, motivated and proactive
• a great communicator and collaborator
• organised and good at prioritising
• focused and with a sharp attention to detail and willing to roll up your sleeves
Experience in customer service is a great, but if you’re enthusiastic and eager to learn we would love to hear from you
Research shows that people from underrepresented groups sometimes don’t apply unless they meet every requirement. If this role excites you, we’d encourage you to apply—even if you don’t tick every box.
