The successful candidates will provide high-quality care and support to vulnerable individuals in their homes, ensuring their well-being and promoting independence.

Key Responsibilities:
• Personal Care: Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Medication Management: Administer prescribed medications and monitor clients for any adverse reactions.
• Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and assist clients with eating, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
• Household Tasks: Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
• Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging clients in social activities and conversations.
• Health Monitoring: Observe and report any changes in clients' health or behaviour to the healthcare team.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any incidents or concerns.
• Mobility Assistance: Assisting with safe transfers and mobility around the home.
• Communication: Reporting any changes in client's condition or needs to the care manager.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to perform physical aspects of the role including supporting mobility, manual handling, and personal care tasks.
• Physical stamina to work through allocated shift patterns.

Working Conditions:
• Work in service users' homes across our operational area
• Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
• Flexible shift patterns including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
• Travel between service users' homes required.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Education: Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Previous experience in a care role is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, genuine empathy, patience, a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and a genuine passion for caring for others. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Certifications: NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards this qualification.

Additional Requirements:
• Driving License: A valid UK driving license and driving in the role is required.
• Background Check: Enhanced DBS check required.
• Compliance: Right to work in the UK, references covering previous employment history and a commitment to ongoing training and professional development.
