Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our Demand management and network infrastructure team. We look after 60 million meters and our teams provide advanced metering solutions to help manage demand for essential suppliers.

What will you be doing?
You'll support the preparation of site safety files, method statements, and project HSE documentation along with assisting with organising safety meetings, training sessions, and briefings.
You'll track corrective actions and ensure close-out of issues from audits and inspections and collate and input HSE data (inspections, audits, near-miss reports, training records).
We'll need you to provide support during safety tours, audits, and regulator/client inspections.
You'll support content creation and delivery of toolbox talks and safety briefings.
You'll work closely with Health & Safety Advisors and Managers to ensure consistency of standards across all projects and support operational teams with documentation, permits, and planning requirements.
We'll need you to engage with subcontractors and supply chain partners to coordinate HSE compliance.
What you’ll bring
- Do you have good all-round experience in operating IT systems, specifically MS Office?
- Do you have an understanding and experience of our industry and construction sector in relation to training schemes and standards? This is desirable.
- Are you someone who has excellent attention to detail?
- Do you have strong interpersonal and communication skills?
- Do you have proven administrative skills?
- Are you an analytical thinker for risk assessment and incident investigation?
- Do you hold a Health & Safety qualification (IOSH Managing safely, or working towards NEBOSH)?
