About the Role

To take a role in driving the work of the procurement function in support of the Category Manager and Lead Procurement Officer. Working with clients and suppliers to deliver a customer-focused procurement service, including provision of expertise and guidance on procurement and related issues in support of the Corporate Commercial/Procurement Strategy.

About You

The ideal candidate will have;

· Experience of Public Sector Procurement

· A specific knowledge of Local Government and UK Procurement Legislation

· Significant expertise and knowledge of procurement practices, techniques, markets and innovative procurement methods.

. Experience of completing end to end procurement activities across a number of services
