Science Teacher (Biology, Chemistry & Physics) – Solihull Secondary School

Location: Solihull

Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing

Are you a passionate and fully qualified Science Teacher with experience delivering high-quality lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics? Are you confident teaching across KS3, KS4 (GCSE), and KS5 (A-Level)?

Link3 Recruitment is proud to be working with a high-achieving and inclusive secondary school in Solihull, and we’re looking for outstanding Science Teachers to support their thriving Science department through supply teaching, short- or long-term placements, and maternity/sickness cover.

About the Role:

You will be expected to:

  • Teach General Science at KS3


  • Deliver Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics at GCSE level


  • Ideally teach your specialism at A-Level


  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that stretch and challenge students


  • Assess and monitor progress, preparing pupils for public examinations with confidence


  • Collaborate effectively with other teachers, technicians, and leadership to ensure a high standard of science education


  • Contribute to departmental planning, assessment, and potentially extra-curricular STEM activities


    Requirements:
    • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Essential


    • Have experience teaching across all science disciplines


    • Proven track record of teaching at KS3, KS4 and ideally KS5


    • Strong classroom management skills


    • Be committed, professional, and genuinely passionate about student success


    • Have excellent knowledge of the UK curriculum, assessment, and differentiation strategies

      • Skilled in differentiating content and supporting learners with a range of needs
