Summary
Part time Library Assistant - term time only (1 year maternity cover)
Salary: £24,225 (pro rate actual salary £18,212)
Ideally 32 hours per week (4 days), 08:00-16:30 but negotiable
Start date: asap

Every teacher is a teacher of literacy and the foundations this brings allows our students to thrive in their subject disciplines.
Bohunt School has an excellent programme to support the development of literacy, from professional development and expectations of our literacy approach in all classrooms through to the teaching of reading, intervention for those who need it, and not to forget two exceptionally well run, stocked and inspiring library spaces.
We are looking to appoint an organised, welcoming colleague to work in our school library at Bohunt School Liphook, within the Bohunt Education Trust.
Bohunt Education Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and requires all staff and volunteers to share and demonstrate this commitment.
The successful candidate will be subject to pre-employment checks, including enhanced DBS checks and satisfactory references. Please note this is a non-teaching role but student facing.
You will bring us:
• An interest in learning, books and literacy
• Organisational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills;
• Experience in working in a school setting desirable but not essential
• Library experience would be beneficial but not essential
