We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Apprenticeship Tutor with strong expertise in Data and Software disciplines, ideally across Level 3, Level 4, and Level 5 standards, to join our award-winning, Ofsted GOOD-rated national training provider.

We are a BCS Approved Apprenticeship Centre, Cisco Academy, and CompTIA Education Partner, delivering high-quality training to both SMEs and large levy-paying clients.

Your Impact

- Deliver engaging, remote-first training and assessment using Microsoft Teams
- Support apprentices through their journey, including EPA preparation
- Shape learners into future-ready professionals in Data and Software roles
- Collaborate with a supportive back-office team and contribute to curriculum development

Key Responsibilities

As a Tutor, you will be responsible for both the delivery and administration of apprenticeship programmes, including:

Teaching & Assessment

- Deliver engaging, remote-first training aligned to apprenticeship standards (Levels 3–4)
- Support learners through formative and summative assessment, including EPA preparation
- Apply the latest DfE assessment principles, including on-programme assessment where applicable
- Use platforms like OneFile to track learner progress and feedback

Apprenticeship Administration

- Conduct regular progress reviews with learners and employers, ensuring alignment with the training plan
- Monitor and validate timesheets, attendance, and off-the-job training records
- Ensure all documentation meets DfE funding rules and internal compliance standards
- Maintain accurate learner records and contribute to audit readiness
- Liaise with employers to support learner development and resolve issues
- Ensure learners meet Gateway requirements and are EPA-ready

Apprenticeship Standards You’ll Deliver

Essential:

- Data Technician – Level 3
- Data Analyst – Level 4
- Software Development Technician – Level 3
- Software Developer – Level 4

Preferred:

- Digital Support Technician – Level 3
- Information Communications Technician – Level 3
- Data Engineer Level 5

What We’re Looking For

- Proven experience delivering apprenticeship standards (minimum 2 years)
- Experience supporting learners through EPA
- Strong occupational competence in Data and/or Software disciplines
- Excellent communication, planning, and learner engagement skills
- Self-motivated, flexible, and approachable
- Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (or equivalent)
- Level 3 Teaching Qualification (minimum)
- Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent in Maths, English, and ICT
- Familiarity with OneFile e-portfolio
- Robust knowledge of Safeguarding, Prevent, and Equality & Diversity

Desirable Certifications:

- Microsoft Azure
- EMC Data Science Associate
- Other relevant industry certifications
- Delivery Support
