Contract: Permanent

At Springcare, we are proud to operate a group of family-run residential and nursing homes across Shropshire, Cheshire, the Wirral, the East Midlands, and Greater Manchester. Our homes provide a wide range of care – from residential support to full nursing and dementia care – always delivered with kindness, respect, and compassion.
We are now looking for an organised and enthusiastic HR Administrator and Marketing Assistant to join our welcoming Head Office team in Whitchurch. This is a varied role where no two days are the same – you’ll be supporting our HR department while also getting creative with marketing activities.
What you’ll do:
HR side (about 60% of the role):
Helping with recruitment, onboarding and contracts
Drafting letters, references and other HR documents
Assisting with new home acquisitions and TUPE processes
Keeping staff records and HR systems accurate and up to date
Supporting payroll, training admin and employee engagement activities
Taking notes in meetings and making sure logs and files are kept organised
Marketing side (about 40% of the role):
Creating and scheduling posts for our social media and website
Keeping marketing materials, templates and Carecheck details current
Helping with photos, videos and promotional material for our care homes
Supporting mystery shopping projects and employer branding campaigns
About you:
A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
Great at organising, with excellent attention to detail
Ability to travel to Springcare Homes across the group.
A clear and confident communicator – both written and spoken
Educated to GCSE level (Maths & English grade C/4 or above)
Experienced in administration (HR knowledge a bonus but not essential)
Reliable, proactive, and self-motivated, with a willingness to learn new systems.
Comfortable with Microsoft Office (bonus if you’ve used Canva or similar tools)
What we can offer to you:
Family friendly policies.
Access to counselling and wellbeing support.
A supportive and welcoming Head Office team
Smooth robust recruitment process through our portal
The chance to gain experience in both HR and marketing
Access to our auto enrolment pension subject to qualifying criteria
Access to Blue Light Card – where you can make savings across hundreds of national retailers.
Fully funded training for nationally recognised qualifications and opportunities for career development.
If you are interested in joining Springcare, we would love to hear from you! - Please note: we are not accepting applications through agencies for this role.
Successful applicants would require two written references, a standard/enhanced DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) (depending on role) and evidence of a right to work in the UK check.
Springcare are committed to safe and fair recruitment, safeguarding, and protecting those we care for and serve. We make sure all of our staff are vetted, selected, trained and supervised fairly and to a high standard so that they can provide safe, effective and compassionate care.
