Summary
CSCS Labourer – Haverigg (4-Week Contract)
Location: HMP Haverigg, Millom, Cumbria
Duration: 4 weeks
Start Date: November (subject to clearance)
Pay Rate: Competitive (based on experience and umbrella rate)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm (subject to site requirements)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking CSCS-certified Labourer for a short-term contract at Haverigg. The role involves general site duties including:
• Assisting trades on site
• Supporting duct work installation and handling
• Moving materials and unloading deliveries
• Maintaining site cleanliness and safety
• Welfare labouring as required
Requirements:
• Valid CSCS card
• Full PPE (Hard Hat, Hi-Vis, Safety Boots, Gloves, Goggles)
• Must be eligible for HM Prison Service security clearance
o Valid Passport or Birth Certificate
o Photo Driving Licence registered to current address
o Able to provide 2 satisfactory references, one from a previous employer
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
