Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
The governors wish to appoint an experienced and innovative teacher with excellent teaching skills. This position will be in KS1.
We are looking for a teacher who:
• Is an excellent, innovative classroom practitioner with a positive attitude
• Can provide challenging, high quality and creative learning opportunities for all children.
• Has the skills and flexibility to meet the needs of all children in the class
• Has an excellent understanding of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum and the importance of play in children’s learning.
• Has a secure understanding of the teaching of phonics and early reading.
• Can use accurate assessments to secure progress
• Is enthusiastic and highly-motivated
• Has excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team with teaching and support staff
• Has the sense of humour, character and personality to engage with our pupils, staff and community.
