We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Laser Operative to join our clients experienced production team. No previous experience is required – just a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic.
You’ll be fully trained to operate advanced CNC laser cutting machinery, helping to produce high-precision metal components used across various industries. This is the perfect role for someone ready to build a long-term, rewarding career in manufacturing.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Learning how to operate CNC laser cutting machines safely and efficiently
• Assisting with the preparation of materials and machine set-up
• Reading basic technical drawings and following work instructions
• Monitoring the cutting process and reporting any issues
• Inspecting finished components for quality and accuracy
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Supporting experienced team members and learning on the job every day
What We’re Looking For:
• A genuine interest in engineering or manufacturing
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills
• Good timekeeping and reliability
• Ability to work well in a team and take instruction
• A safety-first mindset
• Previous factory or hands-on experience (desirable but not essential)
