Subject Lead of Music – The Role

This secondary school is looking for a committed and inspiring Subject Lead of Music to take charge of their Music department, delivering an engaging curriculum across Key Stages 3–5. The successful candidate will lead the vision for Music, support colleagues in raising achievement, and promote performance and creativity across the school. This is a permanent position starting January.

Subject Lead of Music – The School

This is a mixed secondary school and Sixth Form in Hemel Hempstead, catering for around 950 students aged 11–18. The school has been praised by Ofsted for its strong leadership, inclusive ethos, and high expectations for both behaviour and academic success. The school offers a broad and ambitious curriculum, with excellent facilities for the arts including purpose-built performance and rehearsal spaces.
