Job Description

The Technical Services Team Leader will supervise and lead the Operations & Maintenance Team and be responsible for implementing the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of site maintenance activities. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organisations policies and applicable laws, as provided including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Key Responsibilities

• HVAP (High Voltage Authorised Person) certification desirable – if not held, the company will provide training (comes with additional pay once completed).
• Previous experience in a technical / engineering role (electrical or mechanical).
• Experience managing or supervising engineers/maintenance staff.
• Familiarity with both PPM and reactive maintenance processes.
• Experience overseeing subcontractors, including permit-to-work processes and compliance checks.
• People management experience (sickness management, appraisals, return-to-works).
• Strong understanding of building services operations.
• Ability to manage compliance across all works.
• Good organisational skills to plan engineers’ daily activities and call-out rota.


Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

• Vocational qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering (electrical bias preferred).
