The above amounts include Distant Islands Allowance

Suitable candidates are sought for the above vacancies of Support for Learning Assistant to work in Glaitness Primary school. As a member of the school team you will be expected to work with pupils, colleagues and parents.

We require candidates to have experience in working with young people and to be committed to supporting, encouraging and including all children in achieving their potential.

To be appointed at Grade D:

You must have a good general standard of education, including literacy and numeracy and are required to achieve an SCQF level 5 qualification - e.g. SVQ2, NC, or PDA in a relevant subject area within 3 years of taking up the post.

To be appointed at Grade E:

You must have a good general standard of education, including literacy and numeracy and hold an SCQF level 5 qualification - e.g. SVQ2, NC, or PDA in a relevant subject area.

These posts are subject to a Level 2 Disclosure Check with PVG for working in a regulated role with children.
