Summary

About the role:

At Choice Support we take pride in providing compassionate care and support that not only meets the needs of the people we support but also uplifts their spirits and provides companionship. We treat the people we support like family, bringing laughter and happiness to their days whenever possible.

You will be working across 2 services supporting adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and some mental health needs. Full support is required all of the service users, including moving and assisting and personal care. You will also be required to assist with medication, finances, and preparation of cooking meals.

Their hobbies/interests include visiting local attractions, going for meals out, music, art and crafts, watching TV, going to the theatre and charity work.

The people at this service have their own vehicles that they use daily, therefore a full UK driving licence is required for this role.

Hours:

Full time position available. (39)

For this service you would be required to work over a 24 hour shift pattern, including sleep ins, weekends and bank holidays.

Service 1 shift patterns: 8-15, 10.00- 22.00, 15.00-23.00s - 7.00-10.00, 15.00-22.00
Service 2 Shift patterns: 9.00-17.00,17.00-23.00s -7.00-9.00

Location:

This service is located close to local amenities and bus routes into Crewe and Nantwich and Chester.

About you:

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion about working within this sector and looking to make a real difference to the people we support.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

6 months experience in a support worker role (ideally in a senior or supervisory capacity)
A relevant qualification in the field of Health and Social Care at NVQ Diploma Level 2 (or equivalent or willingness to work towards it)
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
A valid UK driving licence
