A high-performing school in London is seeking a skilled and proactive SEND Administrator to join their support team. This is a key role in ensuring that the SEND provision operates effectively, compliantly, and in line with statutory requirements.
Key responsibilities will include:
Coordinating and maintaining accurate SEND records in line with the SEND Code of Practice
Supporting the SENCO in managing the SEND register and liaising with external agencies
Scheduling and minuting EHCP Annual Reviews, review meetings and multi-agency discussions
Drafting high-quality reports, correspondence and updates for parents, carers and professionals
Monitoring key deadlines, ensuring timely submissions of statutory paperwork
Managing access arrangements in line with JCQ regulations
Maintaining accurate provision mapping and contributing to data for funding applications
Liaising with teaching staff to ensure timely intervention tracking and progress updates
Essential experience and attributes:
Strong working knowledge of SEND procedures, including EHCP processes and statutory guidance
Experience within an educational setting, ideally supporting a SENCO or inclusion team
Excellent administrative, organisational and time-management skills
High attention to detail, with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
Confident communication with a range of stakeholders, including parents and external agencies
Proficiency in MS Office, SIMS or other school MIS systems
This is a fast-paced, varied and rewarding role for someone who is passionate about supporting inclusive education and ensuring robust compliance.
This position is full-time, term time only. Immediate start preferred.
