Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

An extremely rare and exciting opportunity has arisen at St Wilfrid’s to join our team as the Senior Administration Officer.

The post holder will be responsible for supervising the main school office administration staff and overseeing procedures to ensure the operational needs of the school are met. They will provide a responsive and adaptable administrative support service across the school.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing administrative tasks related to the hiring of school facilities, using the designated facility booking software, for both internal and external use.
• Coordinating the management, maintenance, collation, and distribution of school and BKCAT policies, ensuring they are regularly updated and submitted to the Headteacher and Academy Council for approval and adoption.
• Administering all aspects of Educational Visits, from the initial objective form onwards, under the direction of the Business Operations Manager.
• Designing and producing school publications such as posters, booklets, and leaflets to support school events and departmental needs.

St Wilfrid’s Catholic High School & Sixth-Form College is a mixed voluntary Academy for 11-18 year olds, based in North Featherstone in West Yorkshire. There are currently 1,538 students in attendance. The school opened in 1963 and has a proud history. We were judged as Good by Ofsted in November 2021; we were also inspected by the Catholic Inspection Service (Sec 48) in April 2024, with 7 out of 9 areas graded Outstanding.
