Summary

We are seeking A skilled, experienced, and enthusiastic Service Manager to join our Corporate Parenting service. This is an exciting time to join Bury and become part of a highly motivated, skilled, and supportive senior management team.

About the Role

Working closely with the Head of Service for Corporate Parenting, you will have operational oversight and drive practice development and improvement for children and young people in our care and care leavers. You will lead on exciting and innovative projects as part of our ongoing practice improvement journey.

At Bury, we strive to be ‘Brilliant at the Basics’ and are looking for strong leaders to embed the core principles of excellent social work practice. You will have a sound understanding of effective management practices, particularly in service planning, performance management, and the development of services and staff.

A driving licence is essential for this role.
