An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Administration Assistant to work within Rotherham With Me In Mind Administration team. The role involves providing admin support to our services and includes beingthe first point of contact for patients and families.

The successful applicant will work under the supervision of the CAMHS Senior Administrator supporting with processing referrals, formatting letters, actioning tasks on System One, note taking, scanning, filing, answering the phones and any additional admin duties which are required.

If you don't already have a Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH are offering this post alongside the opportunity for you to complete a Level 2 apprenticeship qualification [relevant to your role].

As an apprentice within RDaSH you will be given the opportunity to gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain all the tools needed to thrive.

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying. This leads to a nationally recognised qualification.

Whether you already work for us or are joining the Trust and NHS for the first time, apprenticeships can help you to develop the skills, knowledge and know-how in order to embark on a successful and fulfilling career within the health service.
• Provide a confidential, quality administrative service to an identified pathway within the Children’s Care Group as part of Single Point of Contact Model.
• To communicate effectively, accurately and professionally, applying discretion and empathy where necessary, with written, telephone and face to face contact, with patients, visitors, other Trust staff and external agencies.
• Create and maintain, up to date computerised patient records and recall systems on SystmOne.
• Update new referrals on to SystmOne. Maintain current referrals and end where advised to do so.
• Provide an efficient and timely photocopying and scanning service to the team.
• Maintain, scan and file paper records and information as appropriate, in line with records management principles.
