Summary
Working with our operations and scheme delivery teams, you’ll support on-site delivery in the construction phase of our projects. You will also learn how we manage the performance on-site of our internal maintenance and response teams and specialist supply chain contractors.
Assist in the supervision of highway construction and maintenance activities.
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
Monitor and report on project progress, identifying any issues or delays.
Support the preparation of site documentation, including risk assessments and method statements.
Participate in site meetings and contribute to project planning and scheduling.
Learn and apply best practices in highway construction and maintenance.
Training
As part of your apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto a? Construction Site Supervisor level 4 apprenticeship. You will be fully supported by our partnered training provider to achieve this qualification, having 1-2-1 advice and support, e-learning materials, and a whole team of experts on hand for advice and technical knowledge at your office.
Qualifications required
GCSEs at grade C or 4 including mathematics, English and science, or equivalent.
DBS requirement.
Skills required
Full UK driver’s license.
Completed level 3 construction apprenticeships or minimum of 5 years' experience in construction site role.
