We are working with a primary school with a dedicated Early Years SEN base who are seeking a committed and enthusiastic EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children in the early stages of education who present with a range of special educational needs, including Autism, communication and interaction difficulties, and developmental delays.
The role requires a patient, nurturing and flexible approach, with the ability to adapt learning and play activities to suit the individual needs of each child. You will work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to ensure every child is supported to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to children in the SEN base

Requirements:

Previous experience working in Early Years with children who have SEN

Knowledge of strategies such as visual timetables, PECS or Makaton is desirable
