Summary
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Business Research Analyst to support strategic initiatives in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on automation and digital transformation. The role involves conducting in-depth market and competitor research, analyzing automation trends, and providing actionable insights to drive business growth, operational efficiency, and innovation in pharma manufacturing, R&D, and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research on global and regional pharma market trends, with emphasis on automation, AI, robotics and digital quality systems.
Analyze competitor strategies, investments, and partnerships in pharmaceutical automation.
Evaluate the impact of automation on cost efficiency, compliance, and productivity in pharma operations (e.g., manufacturing, packaging, QC labs, warehouses).
Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and technologies for driving automation in pharma.
Collect, organize, and interpret market and technical data to support strategic decision-making.
Develop financial, technical, and business models to assess feasibility of new automation initiatives.
Prepare presentations, whitepapers, and research reports for senior leadership and clients.
Support regulatory impact assessments of automation technologies in pharma (MHRA, FDA, EMA compliance).
Work closely with cross-functional teams (Operations, QA, Engineering, Business Development) to align insights with company strategy.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex pharma and automation data.
Knowledge of pharma regulatory frameworks (ICH Q7, GMP, GAMP 5, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, MHRA guidelines).
Familiarity with pharma automation systems: MES, LIMS, SCADA, robotics, AI-based QC, warehouse automation.
Excellent written and verbal communication for preparing research reports and executive presentations.
Proficiency with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel) and research databases.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering, Automotive or related field.
Exposure to automation technologies in pharma (manufacturing, quality control, or supply chain) highly desirable.
Experience in market intelligence and competitor benchmarking.
