Summary

Job Title: Production Operative
Location: Dover, Kent (must have your own transport due to location and shifts)

Salary: Days £12.30 per hour | Nights £14.15 per hour
Increasing to £12.60 per hour (days) and £14.50 per hour (nights) after a 3-month probation and further increases once competent in all six areas (usually achieved within 6 - 12 months)

Hours: 4 on 4 off rotating days & nights - 5.45am - 6.15pm and 5.45pm - 6.15am

Role Summary:
As a Production Operative you will play a key role in the manufacturing process, ensuring products are produced to specification, on time and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on position, working as part of a team in a busy production environment.

Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:
Stack and organise finished products in designated areas.
Load and unload panels onto pallets, racks or transport equipment.
Ensure panels are handled carefully to avoid damage during stacking or movement.
Assist machine operators by removing completed products from the production line.
Carry out quality checks during and after production.
Accurately record inspection results, highlighting non-conformances and reporting defects.
Operate forklifts, pallet trucks or other material handling equipment (if trained).
Load and prepare materials on the line ready for production.
Use production machinery to manufacture products.

Experience and skills required for this position:
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment
Good time-management and reliability
Physically fit and have the ability to carry out manual tasks
A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn
