Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen as the DEEAMS Implementation Lead. You will be collaboratively working across multiple departments, to deliver the most ambitious modernisation the Army has undertaken in decades; leading the implementation of DEEAMS across the Field Army. This is an excellent opportunity to develop Agile project management skills, gain wider understanding of Defence through engagement and cross-collaboration with DE&S, Navy, Air and UKSTRATCOM. Acting as the Field Army focal point for DEEAMS implementation and delivering a revolutionary digital transformation for Defence.
The Implementation Lead will be responsible for leading the change and adoption of DEEAMS into internal domain teams and ensuring successful adoption of the capability. The role requires credibility, experience and understanding of laydown, culture and current ways of working within domain, as well as knowledge and experience in business change or transformational projects. You will work alongside the internal DEEAMS change team to embed change into behaviour and culture within internal domain. You will facilitate domain resourcing to satisfy the demands of DEEAMS to ensure informed delivery of the future capability.
The Digital team work collaboratively to deliver digital transformation to drive efficiency, improve ways of working and deliver the best user experience. This can be a range of existing tools that are modified, or designing bespoke innovative solutions to meet business needs, to developing the adoption of AI and Machine Learning at the pace needed to drive cultural change.
As the DEEAMS implementation lead, you will need to be a highly motivated, highly organised and strong leadership skills. The desire to deliver meaningful change into the Army is a key part of this role.
The Key Areas of Responsibility for the role will be:
Ensure coherence of Army DEEAMS roll-out with wider BMfS demands
Act as escalation point for Army team to raise with Army Chief Of Staff Equipment and DEEAMS delivery team
Engage with existing Field Army and Army HQ projects that may impact DEEAMS migration
Provide continuity point of contact and knowledge for Army of DEEAMS during migration and into live service
Facilitate and coordinate domain support adjacent to DEEAMS demand
Participate in workshops with Service Integrator (SI) to develop suitable processes
Support SI & DEEAMS Business Change Management (BCM) team in change adoption approach
Coordination of approach domain support
Drive change activities into Land domain
Work with SI & DEEAMS BCM to create suitable training plan
Work with SI & DEEAMS BCM to coordinate training activities
Lead on certification of DEEAMS with impacted regulatory bodies
