Summary

The School of Performance, Music and Media are looking for a talented individual to join their dynamic team as an Hourly Paid Lecturer, bass guitar.

You will primarily be responsible for teaching Bass Guitar on a Wednesday, but other hours may be available for the right candidate within Music Practice and Music Technology.

You should have industry experience as a Guitarist, be passionate about the progress of young people and ideally have experience teaching BTEC Music.

You will be excellent at differentiating your teaching in large groups to match the individual skills and aspirations of students.

A ‘can-do’ and proactive attitude towards embedding into the music team and attending planning meetings outside of timetable is essential.

You will be teaching both Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications, therefore experience pitching your sessions to a variety of abilities is desirable.
