Summary
Mental Health Support Worker
Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with CPI/MAPA training, looking for flexible opportunities in social care? Join our team and make a meaningful difference supporting adults with challenging behaviours in specialist supported living services.
Hourly Rate: £12.30 – £12.60 per hour
What you’ll do:
• Support adults with daily living tasks, including personal care, meals, and household routines
• Provide emotional support, companionship, and promote overall well-being
• Administer medication safely and in line with care plans
• Use CPI/MAPA behaviour management techniques to maintain safety and dignity
• Encourage independence and engagement in daily and community activities
Requirements:
• Valid CPI/MAPA training certificate
• Experience supporting adults with challenging behaviour
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Empathetic, patient, and proactive approach
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
• Confident in using hoists when required
