Summary
We are looking for compassionate, skilled and dedicated live in carers to join our Spinal Care Team.
As a live in carer in our Spinal Care team, you will be part of a specialist team supporting individuals with spinal injuries in their own homes. You will be responsible for providing high-quality live-in care to help clients with daily living tasks, personal care and mobility assistance whilst maintaining their independence.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and a full UK driving license – we do not provide Tier 2 Visa Sponsorship.
You will need to provide a minimum of 2 week on and 1 week off availability. You will also receive an undisturbed break of 2 hours per day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care, including assistance with bowel management and catheter care.
- Support with mobility and rehabilitation exercises such as hydrotherapy and home exercise plans for those with a spinal injury.
- Administer medications as prescribed, recording on our electronical Mar-Chart whilst monitoring, documenting and reporting changes in health.
- Assisting with cooking and meal preparation, maintaining a nutritious and balanced diet.
- Offer emotional support and companionship, aswell as person centered care to enhance the client’s quality of life.

- Previous experience in delivering spinal care (preferred but not essential).
- A compassionate and patient individual with a strong desire to help others.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Willingness to undertake inhouse training and development opportunities to support your role.
- Flexibility, reliability and a strong work ethic.
