Summary
The Best Connection are currently seeking a reliable and professional Class 1 HGV Driver to join our client's team for an ongoing day shift position. This role offers consistent weekday work, early morning starts, and a straightforward routine involving pre-loaded trailers.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect and deliver up to 3 pre-loaded trailers per day.
- Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
- Follow delivery schedules.
- Ensure safe and compliant driving in accordance with UK road laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding any issues or delays.
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
- Up-to-date CPC and Digi Tacho card.
- Good timekeeping and communication skills.
- Must be reliable and able to work independently.
