Step Teachers are hiring for an English Teacher in Trafford! – Full-Time, Long-Term
This role offers the chance to work in a vibrant, inclusive school community that places English at the heart of its curriculum. You’ll be inspiring students to read widely, write creatively, and communicate with confidence as they progress through Key Stages 3 and 4.
This is a full-time, long-term position with potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Basics
Location: Trafford
Start: ASAP
Pay: Up to £200 / day for first 12 weeks. Paid to scale from 13th week.
Hours: Full-time Mon–Fri 8:30am–3:30pm
Contract: Temp-to-Perm for the right person

What You’ll Be Doing
- Teaching English Language & Literature across KS3 & KS4.
• Helping students to develop analytical, creative, and expressive skills.
• Monitoring progress and adapting lessons to meet diverse learner needs.
• Leading or supporting clubs and enrichment activities to boost literacy.
• Contributing to school life beyond the classroom.

• Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom presence.

• Proof of right to work & address in the UK.
