The Basics
Location: Manchester
Start: ASAP
Pay: Up to £200 / day for first 12 weeks. Paid to scale from 13th week.
Hours: Full-time Mon–Fri 8:30am–3:30pm
Contract: Temp-to-Perm for the right person

What You’ll Be Doing
- Planning and teaching engaging English lessons at KS3 and KS4.
- Building students’ reading, writing, and analytical skills progressively.
- Preparing students for GCSE English Language and Literature.
- Running enrichment activities such as debating, creative writing, or book clubs.
- Collaborating with colleagues to refine curriculum and teaching practice.
Who You Are
- Experience teaching English across KS3 & KS4.
- Enthusiastic about both literature and language, and confident in your subject knowledge.
- Able to inspire students from diverse backgrounds to engage with English.
- Collaborative, reflective, and keen to contribute to a growing school community.
- Committed to helping all learners achieve their potential.

What You’ll Need
- CV covering your last 10 years of work.
- Proof of right to work & address in the UK.
