Summary
Velocity are currently looking for an experienced Class 1 driver to join their general haulage client in the Birtley area.
This position is temp-perm Monday to Friday, start times rotate over 2 weeks first week 15:30 start usually second week 18.00 start usually 10 hours shifts
Duties include trunking from Birtley to Bolton with a collection from South Shields on the way back. Trailers will be a mixture of curtains and boxes, at collection/delivery points you may be required to offload/load using a pallet truck or rolling cages.
Pay ranges between £15.69ph- £16.81ph
Applicant must have held their licence for at least 2 years and all licences must be in date. We accept no more than 6 points for minor offences.
