Summary

Early Years Educator position to start ASAP in New Malden

This welcoming and diverse nursery in New Malden is looking for a caring and dedicated Early Years Educator who holds at least a Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years to join the team, with an immediate start. This nursery aims to provide a happy, safe and stimulating environment for every child and is a great place to work for anyone who is truly passionate about childcare and early years education.

Teamwork is important in this nursery, and you will be supported by a caring senior leadership team who bring a wealth of experience to the nursery, having all worked in a variety of different settings and bringing ideas to improve the nursery and enhance each child's development. A relevant qualification (minimum Level 3) in Early Years or Childcare is essential and previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting would be desirable for this Early Years Educator role.

Working full time in a permanent position, some of your responsibilities as an Early Years Educator will include:

• Keeping records of your key children's development and learning journeys
• Carrying out observations
• Liaising with and support parents/family members, maintaining strong partnerships and communications
• Washing and changing children as required
• Encouraging development through play and exploration
• Ensuring good standards of safety, hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all time
• Preparing and completing activities to suit each individual child's stage of development and interests
