A Social Worker in the Children & Young People’s Disability Service (CYPDS) works with children and young people with disabilities, and their families. The key aim is to assess needs, plan services, safeguard wellbeing, promote independence, and support transitions (e.g. into adulthood).
Manage a caseload of children and young people with disabilities; this includes those with statutory plans (Child in Need, Child Protection), some who may be looked after, involved in pre-proceedings or care proceedings.

Degree/Masters in Social Work and SWE registration.
2+ years of post-qualification experience.
