Summary

We are seeking to appoint a highly organised and proactive individual to lead and develop the administration for the SEN team. The successful candidate will support our SEND department in coordinating the Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) review process and ensuring all associated tasks are completed to a high standard and within statutory deadlines. This varied role involves managing communications with families, professionals, and local authorities, maintaining accurate records and cost-mapping, typing reports and correspondence, and supporting the SENCO/Deputy SENCO with administrative duties.
The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative and ICT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, with the ability to manage their workload independently and work effectively under pressure. We are also seeking someone with experience working with young people, including those who may display challenging behaviour or have social and emotional needs, along with a good working knowledge of the education system. Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and adaptability are also essential. Working hours: 35 hours per week, 8.30am – 4.00pm Monday – Friday (includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break).
