Summary

Lunchtime Supervisor- to serve hot dinners Required as soon as possible (subject to satisfactory clearance checks)11 hours per week - Term time only and PermanentScale 1- 2 We are looking to appoint a caring, friendly, and reliable Lunchtime Supervisor to help ensure that lunchtime is a safe and enjoyable part of the school day for our pupils. The successful candidate will be responsible for serving meals, maintaining a clean and organised serving area, and remaining attentive to hygiene standards, food allergies, and the individual needs of our children, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will be joining a supportive, welcoming, and dedicated team. If you are calm under pressure, efficient in your work, and enjoy working with children, we would be delighted to hear from you. We are looking for someone who;  Enjoys working with children and takes genuine interest in their wellbeing  Is polite, respectful, and able to build positive relationships with pupils  Communicates with children in a sensitive and supportive manner  Demonstrates adaptability in meeting the diverse needs of all children, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)  Works well as part of a team—listens actively, shares ideas, and treats colleagues with kindness and respect  Acts sensibly and shows initiative when responding to situations  Is open to learning, welcomes feedback, and takes an active role in professional development opportunities  Reflects and upholds the School Vision and the Christian values that underpin our school community  Is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children  Has a good level of literacy and numeracy  Has a food hygiene certificate (training can be provided) The role will also include setting up and putting away tables and chairs, as well as sweeping and mopping floors. As such, applicants should be reasonably physically fit and possess a good level of stamina to carry out these duties effectively.
