Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring PE Teacher to join a school team starting September 2025. You will deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 if applicable), promoting physical development, health, and wellbeing among students.
Duties as a PE Teacher:
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging PE lessons in line with the National Curriculum and school requirements.
Promote positive attitudes to health, fitness, and physical activity.
Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and support where needed.
Lead and support extra-curricular sports activities, including clubs, fixtures, and tournaments.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop PE schemes of work and share best practice.
Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Ideal PE Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Physical Education or a related subject.
Experience teaching PE across multiple key stages, preferably KS3 and KS4.
Strong classroom management and communication skills as PE Teacher.
Passion for promoting physical activity and wellbeing in young people.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
