Who We’re Looking For

The ideal applicant for this Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant role will have:

• A degree (2:1 or higher) in Mathematics or a Maths-related subject
• Ideally, a degree from a Top-30 University
• A genuine passion for working with young people and supporting their academic growth
• An enthusiastic, confident and proactive personality
• A willingness to embrace training opportunities and professional development

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant to put their academic knowledge into practice in a real-world classroom setting. You will:

• Use your degree-level knowledge of Mathematics to support learning across age groups
• Work with pupils in both one-to-one and small-group interventions
• Help students build confidence, overcome challenges and stay engaged in lessons
• Support learning both inside and outside the classroom, adapting approaches to meet individual needs
• Observe and learn from outstanding teachers while gaining first-hand experience of school life
