Summary
Early hours for experienced Care Assistants in the Codnor Area!
As a experienced Care Assistant you will be working alongside a friendly and experienced team within a beautiful care home which caters for up to 40 residents living with age-related illnesses such as Dementia.
As part of your day to day role you will be:
- Following personalised care plans
- Recording any relevant condition updates
- Recording fluid intakes
- Conducting required personal care
- Supporting the service users through effective use of moving and handling
- Maintaining the health and safety of the service users at all times
- Taking part in activities to keep the service users engaged throughout the day
- Completing housekeeping tasks as required

To apply for this role you must;
- Have referenceable work history
- Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control)
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service.
- Have a minimum of 3 months paid UK work experience working within a care home
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
This role offers immediate start opportunities with ongoing work
We have Full time and Part time hours available
You will be working either 06:45 to 14:30 on days between Monday and Sunday
The rate of pay for this role is £12.35 per hour (plus accrued holiday)
