Summary

HVAC Working Supervisor | St Albans | Full Time | 40 hours per week plus overtime when required | Up to £53,000 per annum, depending on experience

Our client has been successfully carrying out Building Services Installations, including Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Automatic Controls, Water Services, Gas, Public Health, Electrical Services and Renewable Systems for over 50 years.

They are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled HVAC Working Supervisor to join their growing team. Working across industrial and commercial projects, you’ll take a hands-on role while leading site teams to deliver projects on time, safely, and to the highest standard.

• Qualified plumber/pipe fitter with HVAC experience
• Supervisory skills on commercial and industrial projects
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Professional, adaptable, and safety-conscious
• Excellent team player with strong coordination skills
• Driver’s license

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Plumbing
• NVQ Level 3 Heating & Ventilation
• ProQual Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Supervision
• SMSTS – Site Management Safety Training Scheme
• IOSH Certification
• Unvented Hot Water Systems & Safety
• PASMA
• Emergency First Aid at Work

What will your role look like?

• Supervising and supporting site teams across HVAC installations
• Installing and maintaining boiler houses, ductwork, and 1st & 2nd fix pipework
• Coordinating with other trades to ensure smooth project delivery
• Attending site meetings and liaising with clients
• Maintaining compliance with industry standards and health & safety regulations
• Meeting project objectives and deadlines while maintaining quality standards
