Summary

Job Title: Trust Lead Teacher of English

Reporting to: Director of Curriculum

Salary: L1 – 5

Hours: Full Time

Teaching hours: 0.8fte will be based at one of Lionheart trust secondary schools. This will be matched to the candidates experience and skill and geographical preference where possible, but will reflect the needs of the trust.

0.2fte will be provided to the successful candidate to undertake a strategic role, developing leadership skills and undertaking improvement projects linked to their subject and based in the school that they teach in.

Lionheart Trust are seeking to appoint an excellent English specialist for Derbyshire/ NW Leicestershire.

Our trust wide position will begin with teaching at one of our Coalville based secondary schools or at our South Derbyshire secondary school. (The Castle Rock School, The Newbridge School or Mercia Academy) and will provide opportunity to gain experience across a range of Lionheart secondary schools across Leicestershire. This is an exciting opportunity to advance your career in teaching and learning and curriculum development in the future.

• Qualified Teacher Status
• First degree or equivalent in related subject
• Evidence of commitment to continuing professional development
• Experience of implementing systems and processes to aid leaning, teaching and student development
