Summary
Working closely with the business and customer services leads and the quality lead will be essential, as will motivating and developing the senior management within the service as well as inspiring the whole QC team to develop and deliver a service fit for the current and future needs of all customers. The post holder will need to work closely with the Chief Pharmacist and be part of the Senior Pharmacy Leadership Team (SPLT). The Post holder will be an integral member of the Senior Management Team in Pharmacy ensuring the effective delivery of the Stockton Quality Control Laboratory Service. Stockton Quality Control Laboratory is an MHRA inspected laboratory who provide a service to the North East and North Cumbria and Yorkshire regions, offering a comprehensive range of quality control services, including microbiology and specialist ventilation systems testing. Our Laboratory is located at the University Hospital of North Tees and offers the latest technology, which enables us to provide our customers with the best quality services and information. We are looking for a dynamic team player who is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the Quality Control functions, including overseeing laboratory testing, ensuring a safe, effective and compliant service.
