Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career? We're seeking a Senior QS to lead commercial activities on site, mentor junior team members, and support project leadership in delivering profitable, well-managed outcomes across complex engineering projects.
- Lead the commercial management of site activities, ensuring profitability and risk mitigation.
- Submit and manage Early Warning Notices (EWNs), Compensation Events (CEs), and other contract notifications.
- Establish and maintain registers for contractual documentation.
- Prepare quotations for agreed Compensation Events.
- Support planners with contractual programme development.
- Manage and support Applications for Payment.
- Draft and negotiate subcontracts.
- Administer contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Supervise and mentor junior commercial team members.
- Deliver accurate forecasting, CVRs, and project reporting.
- Advise site teams on contractual obligations and risk management.
- Support valuation, invoicing, and subcontractor account certification processes.
Essential:
- Proven post-graduate experience in a Quantity Surveying role.
- Strong understanding of commercial best practices.
- Experience in the industrial services or engineering sector.
- Evidence of risk and change management capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
- Valid CCNSG Safety Passport or CSCS (MAPS or Operatives) card.
