We are seeking an IT Service Analyst to join End User Services (EUS), in the MODNET Account and Asset Management Team. EUS provides the technology that makes it easy for people to do their job in Defence every day, safely and securely, at both Official and Secret (O and S).
You’ll manage the business-as-usual activities relating to asset management across O and S and play a key role in helping to improve current business process, designed to manage the lifecycle and inventory of MODNET IT equipment in Defence.
Working in a small dynamic, collaborative team, you’ll prioritise putting highly valued capabilities into the hands of users and influence the future state of asset management, through engagement with key project teams.
Responsibilities
Track, log, and correct information, to protect assets and components, including the management of regular audits across Official and Secret.
Investigate problems and opportunities in existing processes and contribute to recommending solutions.
Manage and maintain strong and effective relationships with all stakeholders, including managing expectations and active and reactive communication.
Work with teams and project stakeholders to maintain delivery momentum of the MODNET Live service, including working collaboratively with DD functions to deliver and maintain required outcomes for the user community.
Build strong networks both internally (other DD teams), and externally (MSP) to aid the delivery of future state of Asset Management.
Ensure all risks and issues are reported. Ensure clear and effective communications are sent out to the appropriate stakeholders, informing them of upcoming changes and updates.
Remote working within this role is something that can be discussed at interview stages or with your future line manager if you are found successful.
Please note, candidates will be redirected to the Civil Service Jobs website where you will need to submit your application form.
