Summary
The second part of the role focuses on the outreach programme ELOPE which leads and supports management of CVD risk factors and health promotion in the community for both primary and secondary prevention. This involves working with schools, employers and media
This role will be split into two main areas of focus – one supporting existing clinical services for cardiovascular disease (CVD) prevention, and one supporting the CVD prevention outreach programme of East London Cardiovascular Disease Prevention (ELOPE).
The existing clinical prevention services include CVD risk & lipids, clinical pharmacology and hypertension, and cardio rehab. as well as closely with the Integrated Care Board. There is also an expectation to support with funding applications, for research grants or other bids
You will be working with consultants, nurses and community staff such as social prescribesto provide high quality care to patients. East London Cardiovascular Disease Prevention within the Specialised Cardiology directorate, alongside seven other specialist services.
