Summary
The Breast oncology team at St Bartholomew’s delivers comprehensive breast cancer care through a multidisciplinary team, combining surgical, clinical and medical oncology treatment pathways.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the breast oncology team in a new role working across various aspects of the pathway. The successful postholder will be comfortable working with spreadsheets and data to ensure large volumes of patients receive seamless and well-coordinated care as they move through a complex breast pathway; from referrers outside of Barts Health, through to first appointment, surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
Treatment can be delivered cross-site and involve many admin and clinical teams. This postholder will need to be able to manage working closely with clinical teams and reporting into operational managers, and be comfortable building relationships with other admin teams to ensure patients are ready for their appointment and are not lost to follow up in between services.
This postholder should have some experience working in an NHS admin environment. Clinical experience would be beneficial but not essential.
