About the Role

We are seeking a professional, proactive and experienced School Business Managerto lead on the strategic and operational management of our school’s finances, administration, human resources, premises and health & safety.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of our vibrant school community and help shape the future for our children through the effective leadership of our non-teaching functions.

The post is term time only, with additional working weeks negotiable, and is paid on a pro rata basisin line with Wigan Council’s salary structure.

To support a smooth handover, a transition period in Autumn Term 2025will be arranged with the successful candidate.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience in financial and resource management, ideally within education or the public sector
• Understands the key responsibilities of HR, premises and health & safety management
• Can think strategically and work collaboratively with the Headteacher and Governors
• Has excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and strong IT capability
• Is committed to safeguarding, equality, and upholding the Catholic values of our school
• Works with integrity, professionalism and discretion
