Summary
LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT (SEN)
Year 5
Salary: Scale 4 pro rataWe are seeking to appoint a part-time Learning Support Assistant to join our happy, hard-working, enthusiastic, supportive, friendly and caring staff team. The successful candidate will be working 9.75 hours per week, term time plus some Inset days. Regular working days will be Monday and Thursday. This varied role will include active support in both the classroom the playground for both individual children and small groups in Year 5. As well as encouraging and supporting work on academic tasks in the classroom, we are keen for our children to build their confidence to play and socialise with their peers. Applicants should have recent experience of working with primary school aged children and an understanding of special educational needs and be able to deliver an individual programme of support based on the National Curriculum. A flexible and resourceful attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team are essential as is the ability to liaise with a number of external agencies. The closing date for applications is 12 noon on Thursday 2nd October 2025. Interviews to take place week beginning 6th October.
